“Let’s find a beach resort!” Going to Dumaguete with no tours booked and still needed to work, all we could do was to think and search of activities that we could do. We realized that the beach resorts were located in towns called Dauin and Bacong- outside Dumaguete.
Since we work online, we still needed to work on the weekdays. We stayed at our AirBnb which was really amazing. Unfortunately, we were informed by the host beforehand that the internet was shared by 7 units. We still said okay since we had no idea nor expectations on what we would find in Dumaguete. I could say that the internet was good for our phones only, and not for work, especially for David who teaches at VIPKid and needs faster internet for video calling with his kids. So, we needed to find a co-working space where David and I could work, and fortunately, we found Think Hub PH.
Dumaguete City has a lot to offer. And just like any other places, one day is not enough to explore it’s beauty and hidden gems. We tried to search online some places that we can visit outside the city for nature tripping and we found this town called Valencia, still in Negros Oriental. We also found some spots that can be visited in this town just by a motorcycle road trip.
