Sta. Monica Beach Club
“Let’s find a beach resort!”
Going to Dumaguete with no tours booked and still needed to work, all we could do was to think and search of activities that we could do. We realized that the beach resorts were located in towns called Dauin and Bacong- outside Dumaguete.
Last Philippine Travel Mart that we attended at SMX Convention Center, we saw the Dumaguete booth and learned about Sta. Monica Beach Club. So, we decided to check out this beach club while we were in Dumaguete.
What we did was, we went there first to personally inquire about their internet wi-fi speed. We explained to these lovely front desk ladies that we badly needed it so we could still work online and spend our leisure time in this beach club.
How amazing they were when they let us stepped in the resort to check the wifi speed by ourselves. They gave us the slip with wifi names and passwords to test the speed from the room where we would be checking in, to the pool area, even at their family beachfront house.
After that, we said yes to them and we processed the booking for 2 days.
There were some guests during our stay, but that didn’t make the resort sound or look busy.
Our meals were also tasty and very splendid at the same time. It felt amazing to eat at their pool bar with that tropical ambiance. Even working while eating there with a stunning view was really a daydream.
So if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing beach resort in Dumaguete, Sta. Monica Beach Club is what we recommend for you.
