Okay, here’s what we got!
-David and I started to hit the fitness journey, again. We want to keep ourselves moving and fit, and still eating different great food- without having the feeling of being unhealthy. We decided to hire trainers, Kath and Sherwin, so we will be able to keep it rolling. Hopefully, we can make it.
Bonifacio High Street Art
-Since we both had day off last Monday, David decided to check out these scattered beautiful arts at Bonifacio High Street. Originally, we wanted to find all of these arts in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), but it looked like we should’ve started as early as 5 in the morning. And we ended up just checking out these arts in Bonifacio High Street. We felt like we haven’t found them all yet so we will continue searching for them and share them here.
Healthy Options – SM Aura Premier
-As part of our fitness journey, we looked for a store where we could get some supplements like protein powder. We found Healthy Options at SM Aura Premier.
Yabu – SM Aura Premier
-Our go-to Japanese restaurant whenever we go out for lunch in BGC. Specifically, when we always go to SM Aura to shop around or do grocery shopping.
The Village Barber & Supply Shop
-Great barber shop near our home. We always go here to get David’s haircut, get my head clean shaved, and get some good massage. Yeap, just like the old-school barber shops. And the other thing is, they offer free beer and coffee here, we haven’t tried it (not beer since David is sober). We will, next time.
Hacienda Mexican Restaurant
-Mexican restaurant, still in BGC. We went here after we went to the barber shop because we saw this “Rice N’ Grind at Forbestown” signage. It’s an event in Forbestown Road, BGC from September 1-30 where you can enjoy all the restaurants’ dining meals for great prices. Visit the event here.
-Pamper time for G&D! It’s our go-to nail salon near our home for our mani-pedi. We went here last Saturday to get an aqua toe-nail color for David. He wanted it to match with his “Exclusively His” tailored shirt that he wore for that night’s theater play that we watched, M Butterfly.
M Butterfly- Manila
-A play by David Henry Hwang, a story of a French diplomat, René Gallimard, played by Olivier Borten, who fell in love with a Chinese Opera Singer, Song Liling, played by RS Francisco. René had no idea that opera singers in China were played by male performers because women were banned from the stage. M Butterfly- Manila is a great remount of David Henry Hwang’s play produced by Jhett Tolentino and directed by Kanakan Balintagos.
Show runs until September 30th. For tickets, visit www.ticketworld.ph or call (02)891-9999 for more info.
And there you have it, that’s G&D’s week! Hope you had a wonderful week and ready for this new one! See you next time on our #WeRecentlyDiscovered .
